Study Circle #3 will focus on a leadership skill: listening.

There is only one worksheet and it is provided in a Word and PDF format. Make a copy for yourself and move it to your own Google Folder before making your entries. Or download either version for handwritten responses. 

Purpose: Grow in listening as the heart of Christian leadership, a spiritual act of love that begins with listening to God and overflows into how we receive our own hearts and one another. 

These are the objectives for this plan of study:

1.  Be Be able to explain why listening is a spiritual act and not only a skill, drawing on how Christ listened to the Father and to others (in your own words or as reflected in Scripture).

2. Explore the obstacles that keep you from truly hearing another person: your inner noise, searching for your own story in theirs, imposing your own narrative, and your defensiveness.

3. Apply what you discover to your life and your team (what grace do you desire, and what might you commit to, so your team becomes a place where each woman is truly received).
